Counter Balance Operation
Every BEDAWAY system is operated by a sophisticated counterbalance system.
This may seem conventional at first glance, but it offers an extremely reliable and maintenance-free solution and allows the bed to be raised and lowered in seconds.
Manual Operation
Manual handling allows for easy operation and BEDAWAY is significantly faster and quieter than an electrically operated system. This enhance the feeling “it is there but does not use space”.
Flexible installation
Thanks to the height-adjustable mechanics, BEDAWAY can be adjusted to the ceiling height and installed without modifications out of the box.
This means you can reinstall the bed system in a different location as long as the new room meets the installation requirements corresponds.
For a project. you can decide ceiling height and bed width late, just prior to produce the wooden panels. The mechanics are the same.

Thanks to the ability to customize the appearance of the panels, you can match the bed perfectly to your room design.
BEDAWAY installation is extremely flexible. You have the freedom to mount it in the middle of the room or close to a wall as our product does not require wall mounting.
BEDAWAY’s entire weight rests securely on the floor. This means that there are no hanging (vertical) loads on the ceiling, but only lateral (horizontal) loads.
Our running rail is all stepless adjustable and adapts perfectly to ceiling heights from 2.38 m to 3.25 m.

BEDAWAY comes with a child lock as standard fitted. This can easily can be deactivated to make handling even faster.
Stay Up in the Air
With the child lock activated, your bed will be reliably in its upper position fixed. All you have to do is pull a lever to release.
Adjustable Counterweight
BEDAWAY’s counterweight can be adjusted to the weight of your chosen mattress be. Please note the technical specifications regarding mattress type and maximum weight.
The total weight of the mattress, slatted frame and bed linen should not exceed a certain value. In addition, the slatted frame and the mattress together should have a maximum height of 30 cm. Thicker is possible but with reduced height under the bed when suspended.
